At Hamdard Laboratories (India), I worked as a Brand Executive and was spearheaded the marketing activities for H2 division having portfolio of both prescription and OTC brands with products addressing lifestyle diseases and disorders including Diabetes, High cholesterol, liver related problems and immunodeficiency. Following are the details of the work done:
  • Roles & Responsibilities
    • To carry out marketing activities including brand building, brand visibility enhancement, brand positioning and brand pull to promote Cinkara, Masturin, Aujai, Roghan Amla Khas, Jigreen, Nature Wonder Range (Jigreena, Diabeat, Lipotab, Imyoton) and other focus products.
    • To plan and execute various activities including participation in events, CMEs, conferences and on ground activities like Health camps.
    • Assist AGM S&M in ATL campaign design and execution on different mediums like TV, Print & Digital.
    • To write creative briefs to serve as marketing tools for creative agencies, work in liaison with them and develop POS for retail and in clinic AVF (availability, visibility & freshness)
    • Working on Corporate campaigns- Festive, New year Calendar & Wellness Centres.
    • Brand Promotion through Digital Route over Social Media.
    • Co- ordination with vendors, invite quotations, cost negotiations and to ensure timely delivery of material.
    • Contribution in brain storming sessions to develop strategies on new product launches- creating new product names, positioning, pricing and target market review.
    • Scheme design, circular, implementation, tracking, follow up, feedback and report submission.
    • Data work & analysis-regular brand performance tracking, CAGR, SOH & SIT working.
    • Regular market visits to understand competitor activities wrt 4 Ps.
    • Co-ordination with key stakeholders from different departments for timely resolution of consumer complaints.

    • Got Award of Excellence for Marketing Innovation from CEO.
    • Successfully planned & executed 7 CMEs and planning 8 more in coming three months.
    • Arranged 100+ health camps across key markets to increase brand awareness among consumers through doctors.
    • Assisted reporting manager in execution of 3 Print and 3 Corporate Campaigns.
    • Managed Hamdard’s participation in three national and one state level Arogya fair- stall design, banner print, leaflets print, stall fabrication with banners & standees, stock arrangement and spot sales in coordination with sales team.
    • Started sampling activity- an initiative taken for the first time in organization’s history; sample sleeve design, budget, distribution, SOP development and implementation.
    • Developed and deployed >35 POS/ promotional material /scientific literatures.
    • Run three Innovative and successful Loyalty Programs & QPS schemes for KBLs.
    • Worked on two NPD projects of which one has been introduced.
